This is a cute boutique hotel, however, we encountered one hitch after another. The rooms on the “first floor” are kind of below ground or at least below grade. The room we got had several problems: the thermostat was set by the hotel at an uncomfortable 21 Celsius and couldn’t be turned down further, the room door wouldn’t lock when we left the room. Because of the problem with the first room, we were moved to a nearby room. In this second room, the remote did not work and the same problem with the door shutting unless you leaned and yanked on the for handle at the same time. Although front desk had said they would make an exception and turn the thermostat down to 20 Celsius, we had yo go up to the main level and remind them.
I guess rooms on other levels of the hotel are cooler and more functional?
Location is amazing with lots of eateries, cute small town shops and patios within a block or two. Parking is limited near the hotel but can be found a 5 minute walk away.
