'Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. 'The walls and floors are not well insulalted so you can be in the peoples conversation (who lived there 3 of them)want to or not.I asked for ear plugs andt they didn't have any n were mad that I asked. They were cooking in kitchen @9:30 in the evening making diner with lots of noise.. My room was up 5 steps n the room next door thin walls . The place was not clean. You did not have use of any of the house like the ad says.I was not even allowed to make a cup of hot water on the stove.Bed was...

'Everything was lovely! The host was welcoming, the cottage was adorable. Amenities were great (fire was on when we got there, warming blankets on the bed). So cozy! Perfect place to snuggle up during the coldest weekend of the year. We'd definitely stay again. '
