'The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. 'Why take your family away and stay in a faceless corporate hotel, cramped into one room, sitting on the beds, when you could be enjoying a lovely quiet rural cottage style family suite! Friendly, welcoming host, tasty continental breakfast - this is a very comfortable, spacious accommodation with all the amenities. The suite was perfect for us, centrally located, just a few minutes walk (no pavement) to the village, with some great eateries. '

'Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.'
