"Dit is niet de Ibis die je kent van in Europa. Ja, de kamers zien er hetzelfde uit en zijn... saai? Maar de service is wel stukken beter. Je bagage wordt naar de kamer gebracht, en het personeel is over het algemeen zeer behulpzaam. Een vreemde, maar positieve mix, tussen een Ibis en een 4-sterrenhotel..."

"As our primary stay in Ho Chi Minh City, this place has one negative: it is quite pricey. But in our opinion it earns it. The resort is located on the Saigon river and offers a relaxing and calming stay. The food options are great and they have a cute little bakery. Ofcourse, the highlight is the beautiful setting, it looks like a treehouse in all aspects and the aesthetic is very well maintained. The swimming pool surrounded by greenery is always a great experience , feeling like a pond in a jungle. The complimentary boat ride of the saigon river is also a lot of fun and shows you the city vibe very well. Overall its an easy recommend, but it is certainly going to cost a pretty penny."

"This is our 4th time visiting The Reverie since 2020. The hotel still amazes us and the politeness of its employee is remarkable. Once you step in the hotel it feels like you just enter the palace of Louis the 14th. You can feel like a king one day. In our case 14 days. This is also the 50th anniversary of my parents, and they made it very special for my parents. Big thanks for that. It's our fourth installment and unfortunately we also observed some downsides of it. An overview of the in our opinion shortcomings compared to the previous times: 1. No one opens the elevators for you anymore 2. mini bar is only filled once a day instead of twice 3. the floor of the room is not daily cleaned and they missed some areas, you can also see spiderwebs on the chair 4. fruit is only one time (arrival) 5. the luxury small shampoo, body wash bottles are replaced by big refillable bottles in the shower. you miss the luxury feeling 6. the box for the hand towels in the bathroom is damaged, this is not 5 star worthy, damage products feels like you staying at a hostel. Perfection is in the details, and The Reverie is slowly losing it. "
