'Unfortunately I had an awful week weather wise but the barn was warm, homely and very comfortable - just didn't get to see much of the views due to the fog!!'

'What a beautiful property -easy to find in a beautiful area with fab views. The property had everything you need and more especially in the kitchen and is well maintained. Loved the wood burning fire and there was excellent communication from the owner. Great location to enjoy St Mawes and Portcatho. Enjoyed meals at the Hidden Hut and The Standard Inn and easy access to King Harry Ferry. Would highly recommend and would love to come again'

Mark and Fiona have equipped the cottage with pretty much everything you'd need and my expectations were exceeded over and over. The garden is lovely and we hung out a lot in the conservatory and kitchen. I absolutely recommend this place if you're wanting a quiet place to stay while exploring the area.'

'Location, location, location! The house has an incredible view of the beach, sea and sky, and everything in the village is within walking distance. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is very nicely decorated, simply but tastefully, and has everything you could need on a seaside holiday. The owner was always quick to answer any questions I had. 'We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all.'

'Lovely place to stay, beach perfect for the dogs and people all very friendly. Accommodation good, could have been much better with a welcome pack! The steps were a challenge, I consider myself quite fit but 74steps to climb with luggage not easy, added to which my husband scraped his car on the hand rail while trying to park on the tricky slope. The views were amazing from the deck as expected.'

'Despite the weather we had a wonderful time at Farm Cottage. The house is fully equiped for at least 7 or 8 people in the picturesque village of Portloe. Nice area to do some hiking, take a swim at one of the nearby beaches, collect local food and fish from the farm shop of Curguerrel Farm. The entrance is indeed quite narrow, but it wasn't any problem to park at the Portloe Carpark nearby.'

'Beautiful house located about 150metres from the beach. There are two shops next door where you can buy groceries and there is a fish and chip shop next to the shops. A two minute walk past the shops towards the beach is a nice pub. Couldn’t have asked for more'

'For us this was an ideal property. Just a short walk to the fantastic beach at Porthtowan which we loved. The house was well-equipped & nicely furnished, with fantastic sea views from the front garden & deck. So lucky with the weather which made it extra special.'

'Lovely cottage in perfect location'

'We stayed for 3 nights over a Weekend in March, and even with iffy (cold, bit rainy) it was wonderful. House is exactly as shown in the pics - immaculate -- with unexpected beautiful views from not only the family room (with huge expanse of glass including out onto the patio) but also from the master and from the kitchen. The setting at the end of the street means you get both water and headline views, with nothing in between, and walk directly unto the headland trails. Big kitchen, big dining...
