'Great place slightly removed from the noisy city center (~30-minute walk through interesting neighborhoods—we like to walk!—or 14 minutes by easy public transport) with a local neighborhood feel, a pretty river close by, and convenient services (grocery stores, an excellent bakery). 'We had high hopes for this VRBO rental based on other reviews and pictures. The place was difficult to find - it is not down a "road/street" as per instructors, but an extermely narrow space between buildings that covered by construction tarps/ladders and extremely dirty (broken glass, garbage, old blankets, etc.), resembling a homeless encampment. We were a little nervous to find someone there each time we left the apartment complex. It wasn't an ideal environment to visit with kids. I would...

'Spent just 3 nights but close to friends and family that we were visiting. Quiet spot and close to a grocery store (literally down the street), good restaurants, transportation, and cultural places. Very clean and had what we needed for preparing food. The washing machine was very helpful to have. '
