'Loved our 3 day stay over St.Patty’s weekend. This place is close to everything. 3 min walk to secluded Tybee River beach. Plus, 5 min walk to one of the best restaurants in the island,AJ’s. The Herrons Nest is comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet and clean. Easy to get a Uber for a jaunt to Savannah. Thank you for a very well hosted stay on Tybee.'

'This home is so charming! Our bed was super comfy. The hosts were wonderful and the breakfasts were “out of this world” amazing!!! Just a short walk to the beach, great food & drinks, or the historical lighthouse and fort. It was the perfect weekend!!!'

'I really loved the view of the ocean. I spent a lot of time on the balcony. The unit was very clean. It was the perfect size for me and my fiancé. The location was great on North Beach and I love the security I felt being gated in. I would 100% stay again and likely will soon.'

'The Desoto is towards the north end of Tybee away from the pier. It is quieter and less crowded usually. The hotel room was very nice. They pillows and bed was very comfortable. It looked as though it had been remodeled in recent years. We walked and rode bikes everywhere.'

'I highly recommend this place if you want to stay on Tybee Island. It is right in the middle of shopping and restaurants and only one block to the beach. The staff is super friendly and the room was very clean. Yes it is an older hotel, but it has been completely renovated, so it feels new. Parking was super easy. They even let us check in early because our room was ready. I thought we might be in for a noisy night since we were right on the strip by the restaurants but it actually ended up...

'The room needs a deep deep cleaning. Toilet had not been cleaned properly in a while. Limited outlets to use for your personal items. Not enough lighting in the room. No safety certificate in elevator, exit sign literally hanging by one wire. Mattress needs to be replaced as you can feel the springs.
