'Our stay at Y Capel was wonderful! We loved the heritage associated with the building. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom seemed to have been recently updated and the shower was awesome. The common area was lovely with extra amenities. Check-in at the Erskine Arms (immediately across the road) was quick and easy. 'Our large rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, with a lovely view across the river to Conwy Castle. We enjoyed seeing the tide coming and going at various times of day. The food and drink we consumed at the hotel was good quality, from breakfast to a bar meal to dinner in the restaurant. All of the hotel staff we met were friendly, helpful, and appeared to be enjoying their jobs. They really added to our enjoyment.'
