'This is an excellent property, clean and welcoming, full range of modern appliances, internet access etc.Very comfortable and we had a great time.My only niggle is that there is no coffee machine/cafetière so no coffee in the morning.. if this could be added the house would be perfect..'

'Perfect for a family of four. Clean, everything you need for a stay. Easy check-in. Free parking on the street and only a 15 minute walk to the castle or to the Ashton Memorial.'

'Couldn’t fault the property whatsoever, only downside to the stay was workman digging up the road outside from 8-5 each day which also restricted access to the property. Not a fault of the host of course but needed to leave the property during the day as couldn’t hear yourself think when workers working. '

'We have the most wonderful stay for our family over three nights at the Firs. We came from all over the world and check in was very smooth. Location was perfect, so close to everything! Place was spotless and clean but still so welcoming. We had everything we needed for our stay for both the adults and kids. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Lake District.'

'Host was great- communication excellent- good eateries close by- clean and tidy'
