'We loved our stay at Andenes Del Inca! Walter was very helpful and welcoming. We were able to store our luggage there as we went to Machu Picchu. 'This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. 'I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. 'Someone was waiting for us at the train station to take us to Rupa. That was nice because the place is not easy to find. Also someone carried the luggage which was much appreciated while it's a very steep climb to the hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and staff is very helpfull and speak good english. So a perfect place to stay. Only negative I can say is that the showers where not hot but that is realy the only thing. '
