'We have been coming to The Chestnut Inn for 29 years and are so happy that it is open again! We love the quiet setting of the beautiful lake and the great bands, too!! I wish that there were some more "simple" food options, rather than all the gourmet cuisine. We had people staying in the room above us and could hear them moving around a lot during the night, so they kept waking us up, and we had a loud sound machine. Maybe more floor padding instead of hardwood floors, would help to muffle...

'Had a short stay to visit the museums and attractions in Cooperstown. The hotel was about a half hour from Cooperstown and away from the crowds. The pool was closed. The hotel smelled a bit musty and some fixtures need to be updated but it was clean and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance.'

'We had an amazing time at this emasculated clean cabin, surrounded by acres upon acres of beauty. I lived walking down the short path to the river where I spent lazy afternoons reading and wading. The cabin has all you could ask for and would happily stay again for even longer!'
