'The people writing glowing reviews have to be fake...it's old, nothing special. Showerhead looks like it's 50 years old, moldy grout, wallpaper peeling off the wall, the tv couldn't open up ESPN. The carpet was nice, nothing smelled bad. The pool looks like it was painted 40 years ago. It's just a very basic, old hotel. For a night's stay at $90, it was ok, just know it's an old hotel and that's what you're getting.'

'I always say that for those who are traveling to Michigan’s UP that they should not expect luxury. With that said, The Last Resort should be some folks first option when looking for a place to stay.
