'I actually asked to talk to the manager so that I could COMPLIMENT the hotel. I stay in Marinette a few times each year and this hotel has become my "go-to" place to stay. The staff is genuinely friendly; the rooms I've stayed in are spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast is pretty darn good, too. I travel a lot throughout the year and I stay in dozens of hotels. This one is at the top of my list. This was my 3rd time staying with them and I've had wonderful experiences each time....

'The property has access to Lake Superior. The beach is rugged and I loved it The restaurant was way understaffed and made our meal less enjoyable after a long day outdoors. Breakfast was very satisfying. The room was comfy and lovely. We were quite satisfied. I would mention a safety feature: the entryway has no light. A floor light or hall light is important.'

'Sorry, one water bug on shower curtain, but another in sheets on bed. Just that I hate those things. When I mentioned the bugs to clerk the next morning, he only shrugged and didn't know if they sprayed for insects.'

'Lakeside room was wonderful! The outdoor space made for a relaxing evening listening to the waves. The room was clean and just what we needed for a night. The bed was really firm but for one night it was fine.'
