'Very nice stay just a little outside of Hood River. I recommend the river view options!'

'The first floor has an odor like pet cleaning smell. We had a non pet room and the inside of room smelled fine just the whole walk to the room was not pleasant. The room was not overlooking the river which was disappointing. I did not request it so that was my bad. I just looked at the rooms that were nice online. The price tag was speedy but convenient to our concert so it was worth the expense. The pool is a very long walk and next to the very busy highway. But all the amenities were...

'I had a great stay. Decided to drive to Washington for Mt. Rainier because the weather was so nice and clear. Asked the front desk if I could leave a day earlier and they were very cooperative. Don’t know her name, but very nice lady at the frontdesk. '

'I absolutely LOVE this hotel! This is my second stay in a month as i travel to Hood River every 2 to 3 weeks for work. The rooms are wonderful with lovely showers and comfy beds. The lobby bar is HOPPING- on a Wednesday night the place was full and they have a house band, too! The soaking pool is so relaxing and never crowded. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone making a trip to this lovely town!'

'The Hood River Hotel has long relied on its “historic building” charm as a key selling point, and that worked well when it offered something distinctive in the market. But today, other properties right around the corner have been modernized and are offering a much more updated experience at essentially the same rate. If the Hood River Hotel wants to remain competitive, it either needs to significantly modernize the guest experience or lower its rates to reflect what it currently offers....
