'Our home and hosts were absolutely perfect. Great communication from our hosts and information regarding things to do and places to eat on the island. The home was perfect and the outdoor space even better. We loved sitting outside each night listening to the ocean. We will be back.'

'Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.'

'Wat een geweldige locatie en een geweldig huis. Het aparte is dat je 2 deuren hebt. De ene deur gaat naar zitkamer, slaapkamer en badkamer. De andere deur gaat naar keuken, 2de slaapkamer met badkamer ensuite. Dit maakt deze accommodatie ook leuk. Het terras en de tuin is echt geweldig. 'We choose this apartment where we stayed for a week for its central location and this turned out to be the case. It is located close to the regional road to the mountain area and Lajes. The host was not able to welcome us in person but via the phone we received all essential information, we could always reach her by phone. 'The house was comfortable. The gentleman living in the adjacent home was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. The house is as listed. It is a short walk to the ocean. The view of the volcano, Pico, is magnificent. The house is about 15 minutes driving from the airport, 15-20 minutes from a supermarket, and 20-25 minutes from the ferry in Magdalena. 'Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...

'Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. Outdoor patio and barbecue we're a lovely place to end the day as well. I can't recommend this property more for a quiet place on...

'Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. Wunderbare Sitzecke mit Blick aufs Meer.'
