Mooie Gaffaro Appartement in Dorsoduro met Uitzicht op de Gracht

Dit charmante tweede verdieping appartement werd volledig gerestaureerd en gerenoveerd in 2004. Beschikt over Italiaanse marmeren vloeren, met de hand gesneden mozaïek detail in de badkamer, Venetiaanse kroonluchters.

Master bedroom met full-size tweepersoonsbed, parketvloer, inbouwkast, Venetiaanse kroonluchter. Slaapbank in de woonkamer haalt uit naar tweepersoonsbed.
De keuken is volledig ingericht en is gescheiden van de woonkamer door een aanrechtblad en eetbar. Woonkamer heeft een bank en een eettafel voor 6.
Het beschikt over airconditioning, vloerverwarming en internet wi-fi.

Ons appartement is gelegen in de universitaire wijk en op slechts twee bruggen van Campo Santa Margherita, die wordt genoteerd op openbare plaatsen ''60 van de Worlds Greatest Places' 'lijst en het is het grootste plein in Venetië en een populaire ontmoetingsplaats voor Venetianen jong en niet zo jong. Het heeft een grote keuze aan restaurants en cafes en een groente- en vismarkt. U kunt in de zon zitten en genieten van een kopje koffie of een cocktail en kijken naar de wereld gaat door.


Het Gaffaro appartement (vernoemd naar de brug en kijkt) is gunstig gelegen voor uw aankomst en vertrek als het is een korte wandeling van het treinstation en het busstation op de Piazzale Roma. U kunt lopen naar Rialto in 15 minuten en naar St. Plein Mark's in 20 minuten met het nemen van de vaporetto bij San Toma '.

This is a very nice spacious apartment with beautiful views of the canals. Close to bus, train station, many good restaurants, and stores. Sebastiano was an amazing host that communicated well and gave great recommendations on how to navigate Venice. Major plus was washer and drying rack, central air, and great views.

Farewell to Venice

Apartamento Gafaro was the ideal spot for my final visit and my friends’introduction to many of the delights. She will certainly return.We loved the views to the canals from the 3 living room and kitchen windows, watching the constant pedestrian and water activities. Being so close to Piazzoli Roma made transport easy to wherever.

Best spot in Venice

I had the most lovely stay here. Sebastino is absolutely wonderful. A true Venetian local. He showed me where he went to Elementary School down the canal! This apartment was perfect for my artist getaway. It was March and I had lots of rainy mornings but it was so perfect to sit in front of the window and sip my coffee and paint the canal and bridges and passersby. The bed was really comfortable and shower hot with good pressure. It was in a wonderful location by the train station and Vaparetto stops and has some great local eats close by. I love this sweet apartment with an amazing view and hope to be back when I visit Venice again.

Perfect location to view Italian life. From the ease of getting to the apartment from the train station or bus station, to just viewing everyday life on the sidewalks and canals. The view from the windows in the apartment is beautiful. The unit is stocked with a great amount of supplies to get your vacation started.We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Host Sebastiano was friendly, informative, and available. We loved that the property is a short walk to the bus depot yet far enough away to be out of sight. There is a view of two canals complete with occasional gondolas passing by. Super clean, and well appointed for two people. As stated in the ad, it is up two flights of stairs, but we are in our 70's and had no trouble. Close to several restaurants and a short walk to the Conad grocery. Overall it was a great place to serve as the base for our extended stay in Venice. Highly recommended.

Rooms with a View!

Our memories and photos of this beautiful apartment overlooking three bridges and gondola-strewn canals will have to last until we return to Venice. If it is still available, we would most certainly stay here again. After 6 nights, it felt like our home away from home and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host, Sebastiano, communicated clearly at all times, made check-in and check-out simple, was accessible throughout our stay and was a delight to meet in person. With the apartment situated on the second floor, we enjoyed having a view of the canals from above as well as the security of three well-locked doors between the entrance and ourselves. Well-located near enough to transportation hubs - Piazzale Roma, Ferrovia train station and several vaporetti/water taxi stops - to be convenient, but far enough away to provide a quiet haven from the tourist masses, the apartment was ideal for us. For our breakfast, we alternated between Sebastiano’s recommended neighborhood cafe, Al 133, and one of Venice’s best bakeries, Pasticceria Tonolo, both within an easy walk. We were spoiled by the many great options for take-away food, gelato, ciccheti, cocktails and dinner. Having stayed in many properties since VRBO first started, we give this one our highest recommendation!

An absolute gem of an experience!!

Our host was fantastic. He took the time to give us wonderful suggestions of places to eat, things to see, and vendors to use. He was incredibly responsive and friendly. Went above and beyond with customer service. The apartment is in a great area of town. Easily walkable to food and transportation! Lots of space for our family to have breakfast each morning. Kitchen had all the necessities we could need. Having laundry in the apartment was a nice touch. Wi-fi signal was strong. I was able to work and the kids were able to stream a movie at night. Highly suggest!!

Our Venice stay

Venice was our first stop for our 3 weeks in Italy. After our perfect stay in gaffaro apartment we can only hope the rest of our trip is as wonderful! Great apartment with beautiful canal view

Wonderful stay in Venice. The apartment provides everything we need with a beautiful canal view. Plenty eateries, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Less than 5 min walk to bus station and 10 min walk to the train station, super convenient location. The host Sebastiano is very friendly and patient. He provides some great tips about how to get to get around Venice. Highly recommend!
