I have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world, so, I know what to expect. The property manager makes it sound as though they will act, as a concierge, and, in some ways, they did. But, basically for a vacation rental, I expect the property to be well maintained, and accurately described, with an attitude to fix if something is adverdantly missed. That was not my experience in this property. The coffee pot was so corroded it would not make a pot of coffee. We informed our contact the first day. Despite the fact we were told they would tell the maid immediately, we never heard from anyone. We informed our contact there were no paper towels in the property. "They are supposed to be there". No further response. We almost missed our water taxi, because, the instructions on where to find the water taxi is vague. Walk accross the street, doesn't really explain. (Walk towards the tour busses you see from the parking lot, then follow the path to the river). A pin to the meeting point in google maps would really have solved the problem. But the overriding disgusting thing was the brown spots on the wall above the toilet. The fact there are no lights in the two story walk up hall is dangerous at night. The tiny bedroom with a queen bed (you cannot walk around it) is funky; the barn door does not provide privacy, one can hear everything occuring in the living room, because it is not a sealed door. Location is great, but, this property manager has a lot to do to get a five star
