'The cottage was so clean, cute and cozy just for two! Modern updates were beautifully done and nice hospitality basket upon arrival. It’s so close to Sandusky and we even drove to Cleveland Zoo and Cuyahoga Brandywine Falls…worth the trip! We visited the Marblehead Lighthouse and even did a trip to the huge Maumee Antique Mall. Lots of nice local eateries within 15-30 min drive. I would definitely recommend for a couples relaxing get-away!'

Everyone had a wonderful time in the cottage! There were lots of blankets, towels, supplies, and the beds are very comfortable. 'My husband and I along with our two boys ages 7 & 4, absolutely LOVED this place! Boys are already asking to go back! We were just close enough to all the activities we wanted to do. Also right across from us is a nice view of the lake. The house is well kept and very clean. The sunroom was our favorite room in the house it has a pinball machine radio mini fridge games and lots of toys for the kids. Great communication with the host as well and we loved Bootsy the neighbors cat! Great quiet...

'My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. The air conditioning worked great on hot and humid days and on more pleasant days we especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. We would definitely stay there again.'

Host was great and notified us once the place was ready prior to check-in time and also allowed us to keep our car at the home a few hours after check out. 'We stayed here for the Ironman Race in Sandusky, and it was ideal. Quiet street, clean and comfortable… exactly what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. Easy to coordinate and I texted the property manager once just to say “hi” and got a quick response back, which was comforting. No issues, easy check-in/check-out and overall pleasant stay. Thanks!'

'We stayed here last year, location was decent and the house is roomy and like the fact that there are many beds. The kitchen sink drained very slowly on the right (garbage disposal side) it also backed up when we ran the dishwasher then went down. The dishwasher did not seem to wash the dishes very well. Also it seemed like something was leaking down below, a couple of things were wet but not real bad. The TV remote was no where to be found, used the one from the upstairs which turned on two...

'The Laurel Haus was perfect for our family with plenty of room for everyone. The mattrices were amazing so we all slept great. Everything was just as described and we loved this home. We highly recommend for anyone visiting Lakeside.'
