'We were a family of 3 and stayed in the bigger apartment. It was a wonderful, everything was brand new and clean, the pull out couch was made up for the night for my son, and we especially enjoyed the quiet, but yet very centrally located area in Riga. There are a few very good restaurants just around the corners from the aparthotel, better than the famed Milda Restaurant ( don’t waste your time going there). Overall, I would highly recommend booking a stay at the Carillon.'

'I paid Euro 432 for a basic room for 3 nights. Only net curtains for the room windows, so no curtains. TV screen, the size of a PC monitor, stuck high on a wall. No shower head, slide bar or hook, shower with a short hose while sitting in the bath with the shower head in your hand. No room for a toiletry bag. Sauna use 80 euros 1 hour!!! Laundry service, impossible due to much too long lead time. I live in hotels, but I would quit my job if this were the standard.'
