'It was our first visit to Sonolux. A lovely boutique property but this was a case of style over substance. The check-in process was muddled by the use of automation. We had to wait for a staff member to ok us for check-in at the iPad kiosks. The whole process took 25 min. Once we were told that the system had the room ready, the kiosk would not acknowledge our reservation. I tried 10 times. I then had to wait for the 1 staff member to finish another service call before having him deal with the...

'We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location was perfect—within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, and attractions in Old Montreal, which made exploring the area so easy. The hotel itself was clean, well maintained, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor inconveniences were with the room layout. There was only one mirror for the entire room, which made getting ready a bit challenging for our group...

'We had a very large room that was comfortable and modern. Loved the bathtub and the windows that opened to outside almost like a terrace! The front desk staff, housekeeping, and valet staff were amazing. The location of the hotel is quiet but convenient to all restaurants, activities, and bars. Highly recommend Hotel Gault!'

'The property is ultra convenient with the entrance right on Jacques Cartirer Square. There IS an elevator. The one bedroom unit we had was very spacious with excellent AC, a waher dryer and modern kitchen. The view is onto the back alley, but this wasn't a concern for us. There can be a bit of carryover noise from other units, but not so intense that we were concerned. We would very gladly book another stay at this property.'
