'Authentic nice building. Rooms are not very soundproof. Showerhead was hanging so low, I was only able to wash my hear sitting down. The nice location as well as the price make up for that. There's lots of restaurants, shops and bike rentals nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. If you don't mind my first points of comment, then I would definitely recommend.'

'Amazing hotel for skiing in Zermatt. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and with lots of options. The hotel is close to the train station as well as the Gornergrat train. The best part of the hotel is the spa area with sauna, steamroom, onsen, pools etc. Just perfect for relaxing after skiing!'

'Hotel Tannenhof is in a perfect, central location steps away from beautiful Matterhorn views and the charming shopping streets of Zermatt. The hotel is clean and modern with a wonderful restaurant for dinner. Francesco at the front desk was very helpful. '

'We had a great stay here. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was very stylish and cozy. A bit of a squeeze trying to open two large check in suitcases, but overall a great room. The rainfall shower head was fantastic and the hairdryer is actually strong unlike other hotels. There is no AC, but you can crack open the main windows to let in the crisp mountain air. We didn’t know until the end of our stay, but there is a hotel shuttle to and from the train station. There is a phone...

'Very nice remodeled hotel in a perfect location. The room was clean and quiet with the windows closed. Darling patio. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. This is an easy walk to the train station. I would highly recommend this place. The only downside was the restaurant. The waitress was very rude which surprised me. She doesn't care about her job at all. It was my worst experience in Switzerland. The breakfast was awful. '
