'Everything about The Wallace is exceptional from the location to the service to the decor. We have been to NYC on more than 30 occasions and this hotel was definitely our favourite. Staff was fantastic, rooms were large and always spotless. Although we typically try a new hotel each visit, this will be a hotel we can’t wait to stay at again. '

"Modern en schoon. Vriendelijk personeel. Geen eigen restaurant, maar prima koffie en croissants in het bakkerijtje beneden, met terrasje buiten.
Metro en Central Park op 5 minuten lopen. Veel restaurantjes en supermarkt om de hoek. Met de metro in 10 minuten op Times Square.
Upper West is iets rustiger dan down town, dus fijn om even bij te komen van een dag hectisch NYC!"
"Good place next to time square, clean hotel, good beds, rooms for 4 persons aren somewhat small if you have suitcases, but doable. Breakfast is proper and included (just missing basic options for bread such as cheese and ham).
The elevator situation especially around breakfast time is terrible. There are 5 elevators for over 30+ floors. If you are below level 20 there is a fair chance that you have to wait +10 mins for a elevator thats not full.
Further is the rooftop bar not just to but you must take a table. Outside space is limited, while inside the airco is on turbo.
Staff in general is nice, there is a basic but well maintained gym and they offer taxi services in case u need one to the airport. Conclusion, eventhough the elevator situation I would return."

"Location, location, location, that's what this hotel is great at. Hotel rooms are getting old, beds had obvious wear marks, window didn't close well, was taped up (still cold air coming through). Furniture was old and in general. They were remodeling the restaurant, but using the next door (inside) hotel restaurant worked well. Breakfast was OK. Anyway, the location is just great! And the view was as well, even at the 16th floor. Altough they are building a new RIU right across the street, so that might be gone in the future. Cleaning could have been better, coffee stains from previous guests stayed till the end of our stay. Also getting 3 sets of towels while we stayed with 4 people was annoying, even after specifically mentioning it."
