'Nous étions 4 couples de retraités. La remise des clés s'effectue via la sœur de la propriétaire qui est très disponible et nous accompagne sur le site. La location étant située en pleine campagne, le chemin pour s'y rendre est surprenant au 1er voyage mais cela se mérite et c'est un gage de calme. La propriétaire vit à l'étranger et n'a pas hésité à communiquer régulièrement avec nous, très soucieuse de notre séjour. La maison est adaptée pour un groupe comme le nôtre, elle est bien...

'We had a fantastic time in Modica. Giorgio and his wife gave us a very warm welcome, with lemon cake, home made jelly and homemade olive oil. The house is very, very nice, well equipped and the view from the garden is gorgeous. Lots of nice things to do in the area. And last but not least, a great garden where you can relax. 'Absolutely loved our stay, thank you Giovanni. The house is beautiful with a lovely big swimming pool and plenty of shaded areas to sit in.The house is close to Ragusa and only about 10 minutes drive to good supermarkets (we used the bigger interspar) and is just over an hour away from Syracuse and 1.5 hours from Catania airport. Really good location to chill out and enjoy some peace and quiet and to explore the south of the island. Beautiful sandy beaches were also just 25 minutes away. It took...

'Lovely house in the centre of Modica. Equiped with alle you need. Great view from the terrace. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. House lies in quiet street. Becuase the house lies somewhat higher than the street, some stairs are to be walked up. Even though it is quite busy on the streets, we could find a free parking place every day. Modica is also a great starting point for trips. e.g. Ragusa, Noto, Donnafugata.'

'The property is lovely, big spacious rooms, beautiful garden with 3 different places to sit and eat. One under cover which was very useful on the one occasion it rained. The owner was great, he even brought us some Olive oil, first of the season which was delicious. Great communication. "Positief: personeel bij incheckbalie en ontvangst in het algemeen. De kamers zijn echt top, schoon en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt wat je van een 5 sterren hotel mag verwachten. Het ontbijtbuffet is ook werkelijk over de top. Echter, dan blijkt het diner buffet een grote illusie, in ons geval dan. Veel gerechten waren op en werden niet meer bijgevuld, ondanks dat het buffet nog een uur open was. Ook het personeel in het buffet restaurant is moeilijk te benaderen en wanneer wij met 6 persoen water bestelden, kregen we een reeds aangebroken fles voorgeschoteld. Dit werd gelukkig door een collega snel verholpen. Al met al, zeker geen 5 sterren waardig. "
