'We had a most enjoyable stay at Breitner House! It was the highlight of this trip to Amsterdam (which is saying quite a lot). Camilla is a charming hostess! She proudly told us the history of the house, and served a sumptuous, delicious, and beautifully appointed full breakfast. (She thoughtfully accommodated our dietary restrictions.) La literie et l’insonorisation sont très bonnes , de plus le ménage et les serviettes sont changées tous les jours. Je recommande vivement surtout que le gérant est très sympathique et arrangeant !'

The location was perfect, it’s only a few minute walk to the red light district, and it’s right next to a metro and also very close to Amsterdam central station. The room was very clean, and it was kept clean throughout our entire trip. Overall I give this place 5 stars I would recommend the tulip to anyone who is looking to stay in Amsterdam. '

'A genuine old Dutch rowhouse with a few rooms (with baths) up a flight of very steep stairs. Very quaint and comfortable. Convenient to the Anne Frank House, great restaurants and shopping, and a block from the tram that goes to the museum plaza and the central train station, if you don’t feel like walking. Some outside noise if you’re in the front room. Someone will carry your luggage up and down the steep staircase for you, but don’t reserve if you have difficulty walking or climbing. '

'It was enjoyable. The room and the view was exceptional! But the hot water in the bathroom seemed to be limited… cuz it turned cold after around 15 min use of shower. So the other person did take a cold shower. Except for that, everything is great. '
