'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !!
Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy!
We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed.

After leaving another hotel due to terrible conditions, staying at the Hampton Inn was exactly what my family needed. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well-kept. The rooms were spotless, the beds were cozy, and everything felt fresh. "If you’re out here to visit Bossier and/or Shreveport with a casino night to call it a day, this is your ideal place to be.
I had a regular King room newly renovated. Besides the room being bigger than average and a bathtub that can fit 2 people , it’s a basic stay. Large room but with the basics like anywhere else wich makes the unused space feel kinda wasted. If you’re traveling solo, make sure to ask for a room that’s not adjoining. I did not feel safe knowing the person in the room next to me could just come in and vice versa. Wich also resulted in a sleepless first night since the snoring from the neighbor was crystal clear to hear and kept me awake. TV only worked on the channels with hotel information. For over $100 a night and extra fees you cannot escape and no breakfast included, I would suggest going to another hotel or even a decent motel. The first floor with the casino etcetera is very nice and luxurious. Any other floor is just average like every other hotel or decent motel. "
