'They are very limited on any amenities at the pool, the snack bar was only open part of the time. Restaurant has limited menu. 25/day to rent a chair to sit on beach, not worth it as you will only last about 2 hours in the sun.'

'Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️'

'The windows in the suit do not have screens, and I talked to the hotel. They spent about 90 minutes in and out of the room and told me they cannot find the right size of screen for the windows. Also the carpet is very old and dirty and has a moldy and rotten smell, hurt my throat, and difficult to breath. Also all the window sills are very dirty. It is not in a livable condition. I talked to the front counter manager, and he finally go me a room on the last night. This room is a little better,...

'We returned after honeymooning 20 years ago. We stayed in Wailea before. This time we enjoyed the close proximity of the whaler village and their restaurants along with the ability to cook with the fully stocked kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful Wonderful place and will try to stay here again. Hopefully not another 20 years before we are back to beautiful Maui 😊'

'Very close to the beach. Nice room, good ammenities. Had an AC in the room. Ice machine did not work sadly. Good place to explore the island but also relax a little in the Napili bay. Supermarket closeby. Loved our stay here. Would definitely come again.'

Got mail I was expecting, no call, email or msg to room. I pressed on check out and they found it. Front desk help needed'

'We verbleven 2 nachten in dit mooi resort. Alles was netjes en goed georganiseerd. Er was een buffet voor Moederdag. Het restaurant was prima met redelijke prijzen. Supermooie ligging naast de zee. Enkel minpunt : geen ontbijt tijdens de weekdagen. Naar het centrum was ongeveer 4 km. '

'We had a beach view balcony and the room was very clean. We stayed a week and the great staff cleaned daily. Every one was very friendly and helpful. The parking is valet and your car is always ready when you need it. '

'Felt more like a Marriott than a Ritz. Hotel is okay, pool heater was out for the week, room was somewhat worn, AC was noisy. Not the same level of Ritz or Four Season's for the cost that I expect. Not a bad experience but not worth the cost compared to other 5 stars. I would not stay there again.'

'Even though we booked under the montage name, the hotel met all standards even with new ownership. The property itself is one of the most magical places we have been. We are very excited to come back in the future with our family. '
