'The Marcus Whitman is a great place to stay as it is within walking distance of most everything in the downtown area. My only negative comment was about the bathrooms. The sink is a pedestal and there is no place to put anything except some narrow shelves. I had to put some of my things on the bathroom floor. A small chest or even just simple shelves would make storing your things so much easier.'

'A huge turnaround from a couple years ago where the room was dirty and the place was sketchy and definitely not recommended of a place to go to but the new ownership group is completely turning around and I was quite impressed. It was Balloon Stampede weekend and they handled it very well they were packed and they were very busy and the new ownership group did an amazing job making accommodations for anybody and everybody. Even some stuff I didn't even think that was even possible in Washington...

'This property is in a great location, easy walking distance to shops, dining etc. The apartment layout and amenities are good and the street is quiet. There were plenty of towels and pillows (it's always good to have a selection). The shower was tall enough with good water pressure. The garage is not very long. Our Ford Focus fitted with three feet to spare, but bring a Tahoe and you'll be parking on the street. A couple of minor niggles: the HVAC system is very noisy. We woke up every time it...
