'Well, the elevator broke down twice during out stay. Paint job was sloppy. Walls were scuffed and dirty. We were on the second floor and the smell of pool chemicals in the hallway was almost unbreathable. A dirty rag was let in the sink. The trash can was left in the middle on the entry way. To change the reservation I was charged a LARGE fee and Expedia had false advertising free change/cancellation! 'Decent breakfast, but wish there were more fresh fruits besides red apples. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was excellent'

'A few issues. The air conditioning in the room didn't work. The staff made efforts to have it fixed, and were willing to move us. By then, we were "in for the night" so they gave us vouchers for free breakfast. No soap in the dispenser in the shower.'

'Family met and stayed there for a graduation. Location was good for ceremony and lots of restaurants. We enjoyed the bar for a late evening gathering spot. Breakfast at Wolfgang Puck was good and reasonably priced.'

'This was an affordable option in the middle of downtown GR. We came for a graduation. It’s walkable from Van Andel arena and the bar scene. Was pretty impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness of rooms.'

'This was a nice hotel to stay at in a great location to downtown. It’s very close to everything. The staff was great. My only complaint was the housekeeping staff. They originally skipped cleaning our room, so I called to have it freshened up while we were going to be gone. We came back only to find one bed was made, none of the garbage was taken out, and the only thing they really did was bring fresh towels. They could do a much better job. Other than housekeeping, we had a great stay.'
