When I reached my room, I found that instead of being the “standard” room I’d booked, it was a cheaper “compact room” - much more cramped and much less pleasant. I felt that cleanliness and maintenance left something to be desired - there was cracked and flaking paint, the electrics felt to me pretty amateur...

'Een prima hotel op een steenworp afstand van het station en slechts enkele minuten lopen naar het centrum. De kamer was ruim, evenals de badkamer. Het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Minpuntjes: geen lift en een erg smalle trap. De elektriciteit was erg langzaam (dit gingen ze uitzoeken) en de WiFi viel regelmatig weg. Maar absoluut een aanrader. Mocht ik weer eens naar Oxford gaan, zal ik zeker weer kiezen voor dit hotel.'
