'Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am'

It’s a great little hotel with everything you need - spacious boot and ski room, free lockers, day room, lounge with fire and free marshmallows for toasting every day, washing machines and tumble dryers, onsen, restaurant, wine and beer and an illy coffee machine. 'What a delightful place to stay! Cannot praise the staff enough! They were all so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Some English speaking staff, who were honestly the best we met in our two week stay in Japan. We were told that they don’t get many English-speaking visitors and we were the only ones there, which my teen son and I loved. We love immersing in the Japanese experience when visiting, and this hotel definitely offered this.

'The servuce was 1st class from the first moment till the end. This was a highlight to our monthlong trip. Such pride in proving excellent everything. The half board option is so worth it. 'We arrived 6 hours before checkin to leave our luggage and head to the snow monkey park and they were kind enough to drive us right to the entrance , they have a pass so we didnt have to walk up from the bus stop like everyone else.'
