'As you enter the room you're greeted with pleasant, lakeside getaway decor and contemporary design elements that give way to a cozy breakfast nook and food prep area that met our needs for meals in or leftovers from meals out. It's a corner unit so there are a lot of windows for fresh air and fans to move the air in lieu of AC. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bayfield and especially in this unit!'

'Good location for anyone wanting a middle of town walkable get away. We were looking for a little bit of everything, lake views, near food, near shopping, acess to Superior lake walking trail, and this place fulfilled. Nice natural lighting. For being a smaller space it felt large. Basic kitchen tools helped make the kitchen feel practical to use. Loved the bonus coffee!'

'My wife and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. Brookside Hideaway was a great place for us as it was the right size and distance from all the places we wanted to visit. Bed was comfortable and the whole space was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay great. Will consider again for our next visit to Bayfield!'

'Perfect location for 2 families with tweens and teens who want accessibility to stores and restaurants. Same for the adults! Loved getting to know the shop owners and islanders. Super quick drive to Big Bay State Park and city park for the beautiful hikes, ledgerock climbs and vistas. We will be back!'

Fabulous ammenities/toiletries. Bathroom lighting is superb and allowed me to find blemishes and chin hairs I was previously unaware of. Only inaccuracy I would say is it says technically it sleeps 5 I believe which definitely would be a stretch. Only one bed, a pull out couch and I believe a pull out chair situation. But worked great for 3 adults!'

'This house is comfortable, charming, and clean. The house is friendly. Lots of space. Beautiful woodwork throughout.'

'Kevin was very professional, quick to get back to us with any questions. The chalet was very clean, private and had amazing views with a great location, and had everything you needed to cook or grill. Kevin also had a binder set up with everything to do with in a 60 mile radius which was great. We will definitely stay there again. It was great and Kevin is a great host.'
