'I chose Golden Inn because of all the excellent reviews and they were accurate. Nothing fancy, just a very clean, well maintained, old school motor inn. A very quiet and peaceful night. Super friendly and helpful owner. I believe the owner is the staff.'

When we got there there was a family with 3-5 kids sitting outside the main entrance in camping chairs who were always out there (adults were still there past 11pm), almost as if they lived out of this hotel or the shady motel nearby. The elevator rugs were filthy like the other reviews mentioned, and they just bolted another dirty rug on top. Insinuated as if us turning the air down to 60 when the room was 80 degrees was our fault. Once they moved our room to the one right next door the thermostat sat at 66 and the cooling was excellent. Obviously there was an issue with the air in the first room when the lobby is cooler than the room. Also if you don’t like a citrus smelling body wash take your own. ...

'The room was super clean and very comfortable. My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool to wind down. I wish people that brought their dogs picked up after them. The grassy areas were covered in dog poop.'
