Historisch huis op National Seashore Land

Dit comfortabele antieke huis is gelegen op verschillende hectare grond binnen de National Seashore, op slechts 1/4 mijl naar Bound Brook Island Beach. Het hoofdhuis heeft drie slaapkamers en twee volledige badkamers. Het interieur is uniek met comfortabel meubilair. Het hoogste niveau heeft een L-vormige woonkamer, eetkamer, volledig uitgeruste keuken, een aangrenzende den, complete badkamer en een slaapkamer met een queensize bed. Op het tweede niveau zijn nog twee slaapkamers, een met een queensize bed en de derde met twee tweelingen die gemakkelijk kunnen worden omgezet in een kingsize bed, als je wilt. Er is een apart huisje (de vierde slaapkamer) met een queensize bed, douche, grote erker, tv, deur naar privé grasveld, tafel en stoelen, kleine koelkast, wastafel en koffiepot. Er is een stenen terras dat de voorkant van het huis overspant en een grote tuin met volwassen landschap voor uw plezier. * Let op: er is een lange, gescheurde onverharde weg die leidt naar dit huis en Bound Brook Island Beach. * SUV aanbevolen * Niet-terugbetaalbaar $ 185. 00 Administratieve beveiligingskosten plus toepasselijke nationale en lokale belastingen. Beautiful remote house

House was a beautiful historic home with tins of character in a remote home by ine of the best beaches I've ever seen on the Cape. Couldn't have asked for a better rental to meet up with friends at and just relax and enjoy the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect. So many wonderful little spots to relax in or to explore. Our group loved the nice little walk to the beach. The beach was spectacular. Low tide or high tide just a treat to visit. We all loved the lived and feel of the house.. I will definitely try to come back again.

Primary road closed due to tidal flooding. Secondary road passable but had to ford tidal flow. Rutted trail in passable with AWD only. Driveway flooded and home not accessible. Remote spot and need to be aware of tides. Poorly represented in description. Had to find alternative lodging

A beautiful, 18th century house in the middle of the National Seashore, utterly private and remote, just a 5 minutes’ walk from the bay. Though the house is more than 2 centuries old, it is comfortable and well equipped: the owners have thought of every convenience, from an ultra-modern shower to the wireless Internet access (one member of our family was able to work remotely during our stay). A charming little guest cottage provides another bedroom and bathroom. A large brick terrace in front of the house, overlooking flower beds and fruit trees, has comfortable chairs and tables, a barbecue and firepit. Outside the kitchen in the back, a large glass table & umbrella makes a lovely shady place to breakfast and lunch -- and a relaxing hammock is a few paces away. For hikers, there are some wonderful walks right from the property that follow the old cart tracks through the woods. And during a couple of rainy days, we were never bored for a minute, thanks to the amazing collection of books in the house (not to mention all the board games and puzzles) & comfy chairs and sofas. Wish we were still there!

September Stay at 695 Bound Brook Island Rd

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location on Bound Brook Island is amazing, so close to a nearly deserted beautiful beach. The house is comfortable, especially the living room area with several spots to sit and gather. Unfortunately this was a challenging mosquito season in Wellfleet, and Bound Brook Island seemed to be a mosquito breeding ground while we were there. It was quite extreme and prevented us from lounging outside at the property. The gas for the stove ran out while we were there and the owner was lovely and had it filled immediately.

Beautiful spot.... but the mosquitos were brutal!

I know that you can't control the mosquitos but they were so bad. Had none last year when we stayed and could not sit outside this year nor could we walk to the beach. Will say that clean up of the fruit that falls would be helpful as the bees were also terrible. We spent a few hours raking and that helped. Also the bathroom in the little house is filthy and moldy. Love the setting though, even with the bugs! Thanks you
