'Good location, although not near the reception. It has views on Kirkjufell, and is close to the supermarket and pizzeria. On top of this affordable with a private bathroom and clean. Room is small though, the double bed also, about 140cm wide. Our room also had a very squeeky bed. The kitchen area is huge and clean, enough place to cook with enough seating and a tv. No tv on the rooms by the way. All in all a good price to quality ratio.'

'The outside of the building looks terrible. Abandonbed. I thought my husband was joking when he said that was it. But the inside was completely redone and surprisingly modern and clean. Communication was terrible, but thank goodness the couple who cleans was there and they were a huge help, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get our access code. '

'It was a great stay. I enjoyed it. The place was upbeat, clean and the amenities were generally available. I would have liked them to stock up on toilet paper and paper towels in the kitchen more frequently and provided more spray for the kitchen tables. I was there for 5 days and twice i had to switch bathrooms to go to one that had bathroom tissue. There is a restaurant right next to the hostel, it’s also near to buses and not a far walk to downtown Reykjavik. Definitely not a bad stay'

'Voor 1 nacht prima. Wij hadden veel luidruchtig mede gasten wat niet hielp bij een goede nachtrust. Keuken was erg klein voor het aantal gasten.'
