'As I arrived, the entrance seemed a bit awkward, but once inside the vibe was great, lots of places to sit and chill, kitchen was easy, beds good, good and affordable breakfast, plenty of bathrooms and very helpfull staff. '

'Good hostel, it has everything that you need. Nice staff and they keep it clean. You can leave your luggage before check in. Everything is within walking distance from the hostel. Easy to enter with codes. Outlet by the bed. You can store things under the bed just not with a lock. They do have small safes for valuables that you can use. This hostel covers the first 2 floors, the other floors belong to another hostel.'

'Amazing hostel, so happy I chose it. The receptionists are amazing, friendly and informative. The rooms, bathrooms, lounge and outside areas are all super clean, welcoming and comfortable.. the activities are a lot and they pick you up from right in front of the hostel. And the downtown is just a 20 mins walk … totally recommend!'

'I normally avoid hostels but I appreciated my stay here. The rooms were clean, the beds were made, loved the fact that luggage stays in the hallway because it limits the noise inside the rooms for those who are sleeping. Lockers are offered to keep your belongings safe. I was nervous about staying the night as when I first walked in, it was very loud with the amount of people by the reception desk. I could barely hear the receptionist talking to me when checking in. I was worried the noise would...

'Prima plek om te slapen na het lopen van de Laugavegur. Aardige mensen, goede service, goede douches en een prima uitgerust hostel. Het ontbijt is prima, vers en uitgebreid. Ga vooral naar het nabijgelegen museum om te zien hoe de IJslanders vroeger leefden en hun technologische ontwikkeling. '

'De eerste nacht was heel goed, heerlijk geslapen. De tweede nacht waren er meer gasten en de pods zijn niet geluidsdicht, de andere gasten deden ook niet hun best om stil te zijn. Er zijn voldoende douches en wc's aanwezig. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en is steeds daar om je te helpen.'

'This hostel was great overall. Very clean. Convenient location. Great view of the church from the common room/kitchen. The only two negatives are that there is no staff at the office in the morning to talk to if you wanted to see if you could have an early checkin if the room is ready. The other is that it is slightly noisy. You can hear groups going in and out when they are in the hallway. But I would return again! '

'The hostel is in the center and during the weekend there's free parking in front of the building, on weekdays you can park free close to the hostel. The hostel looks really good, it has a warm industrial look, I loved it. There is a kitchen where you can cook but they also have a bar / restaurant where you can have a drink or have lunch or diner. The food they serve is very good. I've stayed at the second floor, which includes the rooms, toilets and sinks. The showers are in the basement and...

'Fijne accomodatie met een goed uitgeruste keuken en goede matrassen. Verschillende keukens zodat het er nooit druk was. Gemakkelijk gratis parkeren en nabij het stadcentrum.'

'The reception is near the campsite, a bit away from the hostel, so you radio-uitzending pass by. But they were super friendly in finding the right place and helping me out. Rooms were nice and neat. Bathroom was a bit small for all the guests.'

'Good location, although not near the reception. It has views on Kirkjufell, and is close to the supermarket and pizzeria. On top of this affordable with a private bathroom and clean. Room is small though, the double bed also, about 140cm wide. Our room also had a very squeeky bed. The kitchen area is huge and clean, enough place to cook with enough seating and a tv. No tv on the rooms by the way. All in all a good price to quality ratio.'

"Hotel in hoofdstraat, bij winkels en restaurants en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Ontbijt is geweldig en bij vroeg vertrek krijg je een ontbijtpakket mee. Kamer(familiekamer) ruim met balkon en ruime badkamer met douche. Uitzicht op binnenplaats en deel stad. Kamertemperatuur goed te regelen. Prima bedden. Inpandig restaurant (niet van hotel zelf) en Starbucks. Personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op loopafstand van busstop 9 en 12 voor tours. "

"We stayed one night in a double room without a private bathroom. The location is perfect – just a short walk from the heart of downtown Reykjavik. The room itself was spacious and met our basic needs, except for one major issue: there were someone else’s hairs on the bed, which was quite off-putting. However, the shared bathrooms and toilets were truly awful. We didn’t expect a luxury place, but we did expect a reasonable level of cleanliness and maintenance. One of the bathroom doors couldn’t even close properly due to a warped frame. One toilet was broken, another was clogged, and the hairdryer and kettle were both out of order. In short: while the room was acceptable, the shared bathroom facilities were a nightmare and seriously affected our overall experience."

"Voor één overnachting geboekt vanwege de uitstekende shuttle service. Supermarkt/Restaurant naast het hotel is een aanrader. Onze kamer had prima gordijnen maar sloten niet volledig waardoor je meer lichtinval hebt. Stopcontact weinig, fijne schommelstoel."
