'Staff, location, breakfast was amazing. A very cute and friendly B&B. The staff was very helpful with suggestions for food and exploring. We had to leave early and a breakfast was prepared for us very early and left outside our room. Great place to stay overall!'

'The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!'

'Screebe House is a beautifully peaceful getaway. We had a gorgeous view of the water. At night looking across the water was very little light. It was so peaceful. The food was very good with great portion size. Breakfast was included with a small buffet plus a made to order hot option. Dinner was a 2 or 3 course choice. I did an appetizer and main and walked away full and satisfied. The second evening we let them know that we were exploring and went to Kylemore Abbey and the Clifdon. We did not...

'My first impression upon meeting Mark and Wendy, and receiving their orientation to this beautiful accommodation, was “professional.”Immaculately clean. Attention to details. Thoughtful personal touches. They know how to please and how to impress. I highly recommend their place. The only reason I gave the location four stars is that for someone “directionally challenged” like me, it was not easy to find as I would have liked, just like every place in Ireland. '

Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk.
