'We rented this cabin last minute after being unable to access our original booking due to ice/snow, and we were not at all disappointed! This cabin was beautifully decorated, cozy/comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect! Easy access even with the snow and ice and within walking distance of both downtown Boone and a park to walk our dogs. Kelly was a great host and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.'

'One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom...
