'The room was spacious and clean. Property was well maintained; however, The breakfast was not good'

'When sitting in the living room area, you could see the thick layer of dust under the bed. It was dirty behind the bed as well. Our daughter noted to not drink from the Keurig because it was so dirty. We were also met with unexpected resort fees at check in. We really just stayed there to be near our daughter & did not use any amenities. The restaurant was very good! And we had an excellent server. The outside property overall was nice. Upon checkout, the desk clerk never even asked how...

'We found this place by chance and it was a Gem!! We were in a bind but the Manager Courtnaye Richard worked hard for us and made magic happen. We are so grateful and thankful for her dedication to customer service ensuring that we had everything we needed and much more. We really appreciate her thoughtfulness, patience and going above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful anniversary. God bless her 🙏'

'I liked that it didn't have a hotel feel. I didn't see staff but I also liked that.The room had everything you needed. It had more of a private feel than your usual hotel. Beautiful landscaping with nature all around. The location of Comfort has the feeling of going back in time which was very nice for relaxing vacation.'

'The floor of the room, was not properly cleaned. There were cockroaches laying on the floor. Cleaning in between was not done properly, hairs in bathroom were not removed. The swimming pool was closed for the season while the temperature outside was far over 90 degrees.'

'This restore gem from the 20’s was extremely comfortable. Concrete floors, very thick doors and a beautifully restored lobby were just a few of the amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The food in the pub and the grill made it easy for these road warriors tired of our drive. We would definitely return to the Settles if our travels bring us near Big Spring again. F.S.'

'It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. '
