'After an 11-hour drive with three kids, we arrived with high hopes. The outside cabin/wagon area is adorable, and the amenities were perfect for burning off energy. The deluxe cabin features two bedrooms (queen, twin bunks), a pull-out sofa, and a kitchenette. Unfortunately, the two mini-splits couldn’t cool the space, even set at 64°F, and the mattresses were incredibly thin. Things turned worst at 9 PM when we uncovered the beds. 'The apt is great. Very cute and immaculately clean. Quiet despite being on the frontage road. Our stay would’ve been perfect but the WiFi was not working and we couldn’t find the modem/router. So no wifi meant no tv since it’s streaming. We wanted to get home to use the wifi since cell service in town was bad, but no luck. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged so we had to be using the kitchen sink. Parking is limited (and tight) to one spot since it’s 6 units together in the building.'

'Quiet. Peaceful. Wonderful open spaces and so many stars! Communication with host was great, check-in was easy. Main cantina has shared refrigerators and space to put your groceries as well as a small fridge and microwave in the room. Bring water as the tap is non-potable. Off grid living at its finest!!! Will be back!'

'The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. '

'The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless...

'Cabin was nice and fresh upon arrival. Cute, cozy, and perfect for 2 travelers. Had everything we needed to stay in and cook if needed. Tracy was easy to contact and accommodate on a request for an additional fan. Highly recommend for day trips into Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Definitely coming back!'

'We enjoyed the National Park which was great walking and exercise for us to go and listen to the birds and more. we enjoyed the Hot/Jet Tub. It rained frequently but was not too muddy. But did make the weather temp awesome. did not need much a/c with windows open to enjoy cooler air The bed was comfortable and the sheets were very smooth. Very nice touch to have breakfast foods in refrig upon arrival. Plenty of supplies: bath towels, dog towels, muddy feet towels, Only issues: as a property...
