'It was the perfect place for us to be. The view was excellent at sunrise. A few longhorn cattle visited us late one evening. We had our privacy from other guests, too. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed to be comfortable. Very good use of every space! Would highly recommend a stay, especially if you plan to attend the musical “Texas” which is performed down in Palo Duro Canyon in the summer months. Outstanding performance and extra special as the play is celebrating its 60th year...

'Communication was great we had concerns about the river flooding. Our host was quick to communicate and advise us everything was safe to travel. Upon arrival the cabin first smelt so clean, second appeared clean as well. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people. Bed was super comfy and the AC couldn’t have been more perfect. Was so frikin cold. Loved it. Went for a run Saturday morning during our stay the views were great. Highly recommend Happy Hollow, and Taqueria San Juan and Frio Coffee. We...

'Parking was easy, Everything was fine.'

'We had a great stay at Ten Bits Ranch. This was our home base for three days as we hiked in Big Bend. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The views from the porch and the fire pit were incredible. We enjoyed hiking to the apache cave across the street and the views from the cave were impressive. Ten Bits was very quiet. Check in and out was very easy. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Big Bend. '

'The Bank had a great front porch with rocking chairs and a fabulous view of the mountains and the sunset. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a coffee maker, tissues, and a chair to sit in, though there was a small stool covered in towels. Someone left the last 2 sections of the toilet paper on the roll instead of changing it out for a new one, and the sink still had clumpy soap residue from previous renter. The shower also had mold in it, so I was a bit dissappointed in the amenities...

'We had a wonderful, relaxing time here. Loved the front porch and rockers, where we sat and watched deer and birds (a summer tanager!) while having happy hour. Everything was to our liking and we would come back again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!'

We were pulling a trailer with a golf cart and there was plenty of room to park and it felt safe and we did not have to worry about somebody stealing it, unlike if we stayed in a hotel in a larger town. Owner Karen responded very quickly! And we loved the outdoor barn cats. Great stop on our journey to Red River, NM.'
