Spectaculaire waterkant huis / aanlegsteiger / 3 prive-stranden / gated community

Prachtig gerenoveerd cape-huis met spectaculair uitzicht op Nantucket-geluid en Lewis Bay. Huis beschikt over een eigen aanlegsteiger en prive deeded stranden.

We hebben drie privéstranden (alleen toegankelijk voor eigenaren en huurders van Great Island) en een openbaar strand op loopafstand (allemaal binnen 5 minuten)
Dit zijn: (1) White Gate Beach (2) Cove Beach (3) Whale Beach. De foto's van alle drie de stranden staan op de aanbieding. Als je langs Whale Beach loopt, bereik je Seagull Beach - een openbaar strand. Als je naar de foto van Whale Beach kijkt, ligt Seagull Beach net voorbij de huizen die je in de verte ziet. Het is ook mogelijk om naar Seagull Beach te rijden.

Geniet van ~ 4500 vierkante voet leefruimte op twee niveaus. Het eerste niveau bestaat uit een woonkamer, een slaapkamer met eigen badkamer, een studeerkamer met queensize slaapbank en nog een complete badkamer. Een grote wrap around dek kijkt uit over aangelegde tuinen en uitzicht op de baai.

Het tweede niveau omvat een ruime keuken en een familiekamer met spectaculair uitzicht op het water en toegang tot een afgeschermde veranda, een grote ouderlijke suite met eigen badkamer, twee extra slaapkamers, die een complete badkamer en een damestoilet delen.

Het huis beschikt over alle gemakken van thuis, waaronder meerdere HD-tv's met groot scherm, wifi, volledige keuken, volledige wasruimte, gasgrill en grote buitendekken (op de eerste en tweede niveaus) met zitjes met uitzicht op het water. De woning slaapt comfortabel 12 (vier slaapkamers + 1 studeerkamer) en woonkamer op de eerste verdieping met een converteerbaar bed). Alle badkamers zijn onlangs gerenoveerd met Italiaanse tegels, Grohe-hulpstukken, vloerverwarming en grote designwastafels. Drie van de baden zijn onder andere een stoomsauna en een jacuzzi

Het terrein omvat een garage voor twee wagens en een groot boothuis. De 40 voet dock is geschikt voor uw boot en die van uw gasten.

We had issues with stove and a few other things. The listing misrepresented how far the beaches were. But I will say the wrap around deck and view were very nice

A disappointment…

The house could be absolutely lovely, but it was not. Though the views were stunning, the house very spacious, beds quite comfortable and the host responsive, the house was dirty and the furniture either shabby, broken or stained. Very dated. There were broken lampshades, mold growing in the downstairs bathroom soap container, twin size sheet on a Queen bed, clumps of hair and crumbs on areas of both living room floors and the downstairs furnishings looked like yard sale mix and match. The lower floor had a very musty smell. For the price of the stay and VRBO descriptions, we were so very disappointed.

Great location perfect for family trip!

Loved the location of this property which was perfect for a relaxing family trip to Cape Cod! The house was big enough to comfortably sleep 8 and the kitchen/grill was a nice setup that we used a lot to cook meals. The gated neighborhood has some really cute houses and feels very private - we hardly saw another person the week we were there. The view from the upper deck is incredible and we all loved having our morning coffee and dinners together there. Some very nice, small private beaches are just a short walk away and we had them all to ourselves on the days we went. We really loved having the dock on the water as well. It was great for some sunbathing and a quick dip! The ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are just a short 15min drive away, but if you’re looking for a house that’s close to a lot of cute shops and restaurants this might not be the place for you.

Phenomenal!

Perfect Cape location for a family vacation. Dock provides immediate access to water, ocean is right around the corner, and near all the amenities for the kids. Hot tub was a huge hit as well. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to vacation in the Cape.

Brothers Weekend

Delightful. It was a breeze to book. The property was beautiful. Location was incredible - we kayaked right off the dock on an tidal river leading to the bay, fished, relaxed and ate at some great local restaurants.

Humongous House in Serene Location

The home is very expansive and well laid out with multiple very usable living spaces, and the high number of bath rooms makes it great for a multiple couple group. The location is also ideal, sitting in a private gated community with a low number of friendly neighbors. The owner is also very responsive and informative when it comes to all questions.

Fun Family get away

We loved the location! It was a quick 10 minute walk to the private beaches. The kitchen was amazing, very open and had lot of supplies! The bathrooms had been updated and were beautiful. We loved the sauna feature in our shower. The deck had nice views of the ocean! Some of the furniture is need of an upgrade and there were a few electrical issues in the lower level. The AC wasn’t working downstairs and the back master bath outlets weren’t working. Overall my family and I had a great time, the house is beautiful and in a great location. Very quiet neighborhood. The property owner was also very attentive to concerns that we brought up.

Great Location and beautiful views

Home is in a great location, many activities just minutes away. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed. Needs some attention to furniture, and sun shade which I'm told the owner is working on fixing. Would highly recommend a truly remarkable home and neighborhood. We are planning our return!! The owner was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful Neighborhood and Great Location

This house is located in a beautiful neighborhood close to several beaches and a short drive to the ferry’s. The house has everything you need and Georgia’s views. Overall the house could use a little love, but it’s bones are great. The hot tub and the AC didn’t work while we were there, so that was the main disappointment. The owner was responsive to our issues.

Very nice home and nice beaches

We were delighted to get together after more than a 15 month separation and this house made it even more special. It's a beautiful home with plenty of space. The house had plenty of bathrooms and they were all very nicely appointed. Everyone loved it and we loved taking long walks on the beach. The dock is perfect for fishing and for the two kayaks we brought with us for those who wanted to explore the bay. Wonderful place!

Cape Cod for some Birthdays

Nice big house. We had two different families staying in the house and one family stayed upstairs the other stayed downstairs. Extremely safe neighborhood, with beaches within walking distance. Lots of grass for the kids to play, and a nice upper and lower deck. We had a great time and creating some fantastic memories, would stay here again! Oh and the hot tub!!!

Great location

We had an amazing week at this house the first week of April. The proximity to private beaches was really key for us as our older daughter had a broken leg and really limited our activities. Many things were still closed on the cape, but it was a perfect location to just enjoy the ocean, the channel and each other. The house itself had everything we needed, but is well worn- couches and pillows had some stains and discoloration, doors were sticky and hard to open etc. We were not at all disappointed, but maybe would've been had we paid a full, in season price.

More than 5 stars needed!

We had a wonderful stay during the kids Spring break week. We were hesitant to take a trip during Covid but this place quickly put that to rest! The view is spectacular and the house is super clean which was extremely important to us. The location was also great as its close to many beaches, easy to get to town as well as the fabulous bike path. We also loved being in a gated community. The owner was extremely accessible and promptly answered any questions. This home definitely needs more than 5 stars and we plan on visiting again in the future!

Early spring getaway

We stayed at this property for an early spring getaway. The location is fabulous- on a very private part of the Cape with access to gorgeous beaches. The home is beautiful and spacious. We loved the hot tub and decks over looking the water. The home could use a few furniture updates (couches had rips and outdoor furniture was rusty); the dishwasher also didn't work but the owner was responsive and sent someone over to attempt a fix. Owner was very easy to work with. Overall a wonderful weekend!

Family vacation week

Great week with our family. The place was very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful views and quiet neighborhood. Having the dock for the boat was key for us. The beach’s were close as were restaurants and grocery stores.

Our new favorite part of the Cape

We just completed an incredible stay at this property and it is now our new favorite part of the Cape. The home is spacious and clean, with an open floor plan 2nd floor living space with incredible views. The location is terrific and we enjoyed all three beaches associated with the property. Our kids loved spending time on the dock, spotting crabs at low tide and jellyfish at high tide. We also rented kayaks to explore the channel and Lewis Bay. The neighborhood is good for biking and filled with beautiful homes. Beds and linens were comfortable and we enjoyed the modern bathrooms and hot tub. Three smart TVs were also a plus for downtime after the beach. Highly recommend!
