'I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. 'We had a lovely stay. House is located very well. Shops, restaurant and the beach are all within walking distance. The house itself is even better then advertised. Fully equipped, nice little garden and lots of treasure for the kids to discover. Sara was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any question we had. We would love to return someday!'

Canterbury Cathedral, White Cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle echt een aanrader, wildpark etc. Leuk dorpje met restaurants en shops, vlakbij het strand en haventje. Top vakantie.'

'I couldn't fault this beautiful spacious home. It had everything we needed for the perfect family get away, and the playroom and trampoline in the garden got a big thumbs up from my grandchildren. The location was great for exploring everything that West Mersea has to offer, especially the seafood! Everyone went away feeling totally relaxed! One big thumbs up for me, was that John the owner greeted me at the property in person to show me how everything worked!'

'Really lovely location and space. Communication with owner very good. Children loved the space and great we were all able to sit and eat together. Cooking facilities met our needs. Plenty of crockery for adults and children. A little shortage of spoons. Hot tub great to use. Our only concern was finding glass shards which had been missed in the cleaning process.'

'This house was clean, tidy, and airy, but the kitchen and bathroom door handles were very stiff and need attention. This house is advertised with parking and pet friendly. However, the ‘parking’ comprised the ability to load and unload under the adjacent car port. We were told by the renter after we had booked that we needed to find parking on side streets or waste land for all other parking. The side streets were full of cars owned by residents and the scrub land was full of rubbish and pot...
