Ein wohltuender Gegensatz zu vielen in der Gegend stehenden Häusern, die zwar neuer waren, jedoch in kahler Umgebung wenig einladend wirkten. Die Lage war perfekt für Ausflüge zu Fuß und mit dem Wagen.'

'Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. '

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

'A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!'

'If you are looking to get away from it all, noise, traffic every day city life this is a must place to stay. It’s situated off the road and every morning you can sit out front with your cup of coffee or hot tea and listen to the birds and the absolute silence around you. Now we had our own car and being from the US we had to drive on a different side of the street but that being said it wasn’t all that difficult. My husband was a pro. 'This is a beautiful property with lots of bedrooms for the whole family. We were with our children and grandchildren and the space was perfect for all of us. The kids loved playing in the yard and the views from the front were spectacular.'

'The house is well appointed and the pictures of the view/ house/living spaces were true to life! Kitchen & dining area were spacious & comfortable. The upstairs living room provide comfort and a pan-o-rama of ocean views. It is a bit isolated at nearly the end of a single track road, but worth the drive. If you are not from Ireland, pay attention to to the house instruction book especially for hot water!'
