'Nomi was a very kind condo owner, even giving me her daughter's phone number, just in case! I never found a key code in the VRBO emails for getting in. Thankfully, the daughter offered Nomi's personal key code! Although the unit was "clean", there were a number of disappointments. NO MICROWAVE, no dishwasher - which isn't a problem if the people before wash properly! 'The property is in a great spot! We enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the balcony and the kids enjoyed swimming during high tide. We wish the unit would have been stocked a little better. We didn’t have laundry detergent in our unit which was a bummer since the hide-a-bed sheets were dirty when we arrived. My guess is that the cleaning crew didn’t know it had been used. ' Visiting Whidbey Island for the first time for the Shakespeare plays and family get-together. Spent a lovely 3 nights at the Boatyard Inn. Everything was perfect! Loved sitting on the deck, watching seals and herons and listening to the calming sounds of little waves and gulls. Great location to walk to shops and restaurants. Hope to be back some day!'

'I dinged the rating for some functional issues, the tub is an oval soaker upstairs is awkward to enter and exit, and I made the mgmt. company aware. The skillets are tired and some of the dishes weren't too clean. Hopefully a trip to Costco will fix that. Great location with door side parking. Pantry was well stocked with essentials and it's a short trip to Payless Grocery in Freeland. We'll be back. '
