'Perfect room and location. We will book again next time we are in Whitby and recommend to friends too. The room only works perfectly, but dont leave your key in the room like we did!! Housekeeper was amazingly and came and let us in, thanks so much!! '

'Great Communication from Emma & Dave. Emailed us the day before our stay to ask what time we be arriving so our room was prepared for us. And what a lovely surprise when we arrived. Room 7 was fantastic with a large bay window. We were left a parking permit and parked right outside the property. The Bathroom was very spacious with a lovely power shower. The Room was spotlessly clean. We have stayed in many guest houses in Whitby and we both agreed this was one of the best. Well done Emma & Dave'

'Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Whitby, lots of restaurants around and a short walk from the famous 199 steps. Good value and friendly staff. The supply of shampoo and conditioner was a thoughtful addition. '

'Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in.'

'Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .'

'Wonderful little pub, stylish decor, good food, friendly service and a very comfy bed. Highly recommend it as a base for exploring the area.'
