Ebb Tide is a luxurious holiday home located in the seaside town of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, it’s the perfect place for family holidays and getaways with friends. Just a short stroll from the many sights of Whitby, you’ll find restaurants, cafes, shops and bars a short minute walk away from the property. What’s more, private on-site parking is available which is a real bonus in Whitby!



The Space:

Ebb Tide has a cosy and welcoming living room. You’ll find homely features throughout the space including soft furnishings and a neutral colour scheme. Light floods in from the tall bay window and there are two comfy sofas and an armchair where you can relax with your loved ones. Turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy Freeview, streaming services and a DVD player.



Fully equipped, the kitchen has modern appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily. Features include an oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.



The dining room includes a wooden table and six wicker dining chairs. All guests are catered for at Ebb Tide.



You’ll find two bedrooms on the first floor of the property and the third bedroom on the second floor. Stylish and tranquil, each bedroom features plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.



The first and second bedrooms boast king-size beds and the third bedroom is a twin with an ensuite bathroom boasting a bathtub, separate shower, WC and wash basin.



The family bathroom is located on the first floor. Beautifully designed, this space also includes a bathtub with a handheld shower, a large walk in shower, a WC and a basin.



Head outside and you’ll find an enclosed rear yard with seating for all guests. Kick back and relax whilst taking in the fresh sea air.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Ebb Tide are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Free on-street parking can also be found on the surrounding streets.



Please note that the steps up to the third floor are considered steep.



The Neighborhood:

Only a short walk from Whitby’s town centre, Ebb Tide is perfectly located for those looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area. Whether it’s the world-famous fish and chips, the history and heritage of Bram Stoker's Dracula, or the 199-step climb to Whitby Abbey, Whitby will be sure to provide you with something you’ll remember.



The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a 20-minute walk from the property. The famous Trenchers in the town centre is where you can try traditional Whitby fish and chips! On Pier Road, you’ll find nostalgic arcades which are fun for all ages.



The opposite side of Whitby is full of narrow, mediaeval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Sample the catch of the day in one of the fish restaurants or visit one of the traditional sweet shops for all your candy needs.



Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.



Getting Around:

Edd Tide is only a short walk from the town centre, harbour and Whitby Train Station.



Whitby train station is just a short 5-10 minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.



There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
