'The Judge's House is a big, family house within easy walking distance of central Whitby and the sea front. It's very well equipped and the owners communicated before, during and after our stay. '

'Great little place, hosts were super quick at getting back to us and great at communicating. Loved the showers. No free parking close by however, so budget in some parking money. Also, 1st floor larger bed frame was wobbly, so favour the upstairs bedroom. Beautiful decor. Had everything we needed for a short stay.'

'My husband, toddler, and greyhound stayed for three nights in this lovely cottage. It was quiet and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect for accessing the train station and pub. Our dog was also very comfortable—the house did not smell of pets. It had been cleaned very well. '

'As is normally the case the photos don’t quite reflect the property’s condition. We would like to give a balanced review and fundamentally the property is in a great location, even though no parking but can be found in adjacent streets with permit provided. The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size. Overwhelmingly the damp which is evident in many places is an issue, as is the loose and degrading paint and loose and degrading skirting and quadrant. Fridge wasn’t clean, the appliances...

'Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful stay in this central and very convenient location. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. Only comment would be that the living room rug clearly hadn't been hoovered after the previous visitors left. Cleaned to a high standard elsewhere.'

'Lovely property was just as advertised. Its a good walk to Whitby centre but not a problem for us. A few marks on the carpet and sofa is not comfortable but overall, house is very clean and communication with owner was fab.'
