'Room was very nice and amenities were excellent. Microwave and fridge/freezer - very nice. Huge Samsung TV which required some effort to figure out how to navigate the channels, but after that I enjoyed the channel options and the picture quality. Some written instructions would have been nice. Ditto for the a/c remote but I didn't really need it. Room was very clean except the bedside table seemed to have a couple of sticky bits, not a big problem. The texted instructions on how to access...

'The room was ok. There was too much furniture in the room for its size. The pillows are like 12in thick and the mattresses dont have protective covers on them just the bottom sheet. The sheets had some staims on them. '

'redone hotel. Rooms were a nice size only issue was the TV could only be watched from the couch and not the bed. Also there are no coffee machines in the room. Need to go downstairs to make your coffee which was OK but our last morning there were no coffee pods except decaf. Not a happy camper.'

'We were getting in late from a long trip and leaving early in the morning. We just needed a bed and a shower. This was exactly what we needed at a great price. Being able to pull up right in front of the room, and get in with the access key code provided by staff allowed us to brush teeth and get to sleep immediately. The property is not in pristine condition, and the site's swimming pool was still closed in mid June, but we weren't there to hang out at the motel. There is a lot to see and...

The rooms were well stocked and very clean. The decor was Adirondack chic with queen bunk beds and kitchenette area. We will stay here again and for a longer period of time!'

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'Got handicap accessible room and handicap chair in shower broke. We spoke with staff and they comped room for one night only. The accident ruined our whole trip and we travelled over 900 miles. We had 2 rooms for 2 days. We eneded up going to the dr due to the fall and realized wrist was broken. We contacted the hotel by emaio and now they wont even respond. Then there were kids running on floor above us until about 2 am.'

'I was so surprised how nice our room was. It’s been renovated recently with taste. The room was clean and inviting. It was very quiet. The dining room where the included breakfast is serve is very pleasant. The food was good and the atmosphere pleasant. It exceeded all expectations.'
