'This is truly the diamond in the rough, what a find! We stayed in the Jenny suite and it was charming. We ate dinner in the main room and it was five star all the way this place is a culinary gemstone! Make sure you make a reservation early as the dining room fills up quickly. We will definitely be back to the stagecoach on our next trip to lake placid. '

'Stayed in the resort building and highly recommend. Thanks to Lea (I think?) at the front desk for helping both me and my sister out with our rooms and making both our stays fantastic. Say the lake house rooms though and they are dark and feel dated. I’d definitely stay in the main building. Paddle boards were an excellent amenity. '

Could have used an extra hook or two for towels and the sink was a challenge as water tended to splash over onto the floor. Free use of bikes and an outdoor sauna added to the special atmosphere. They also offer a couple of glamping options. Cool.

Having a kitchen is perfect for families who spend the days hiking or in outdoor activities and want a quiet place to eat and relax in the evening. 'Such a beautiful and well cared for B & B. Comfortable, cool, clean, artistic and historic. Enjoyed my stay immensely. Favorite thing was I barely saw any staff there my entire stay. I think they purposely stay out of your way unless you need something. Awesome and unexpected.
