'De locatie is prima, maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Als backpacker ben je waarschijnlijk blij met de kamer die wij hadden. Voor ons was het de meest deprimerende kamer ever! Klein, bedompt, zonder daglicht weggestopt in een tochtige binnengalerij. Gehorig en muf ruikend. Geen magnetron op de kamer terwijl foto's iets anders suggereren. Koelkast werkte niet goed. Of alles was bevroren of er lekte water uit. Buitenkant werd loeiheet, gevaarlijk! Weinig stopcontacten. Wellicht is de prijs...

Wellicht is de prijs redelijk voor deze plaats, maar wij vonden het buitenproportioneel in relatie tot het gebodene. Het receptiepersoneel was chagrijnig. Misschien troffen we haar op een verkeerd moment, maar ze deed niks anders dan klagen hoe moe ze was en dat ze drie banen had en niet wist hoe ze de zomer moest doorkomen. Echt wat je noemt een hartelijk ontvangst....not.
Alleen de dame met hoofddoek was vriendelijk en hulpvaardig, maar die verveelde zich zo te zien te pletter. Zat alleen op haar telefoon te kijken in de "lobby".
Dat was het enige dat redelijk voor elkaar was. Je kon daar onbeperkt koffie en thee halen en daar stond een magnetron om te gebruiken. Wel lastig om met je ontbijt dan op en neer te lopen naar je kamer als je niet in de lobby wilde blijven. Ongezellig ingericht. Snacks tegen betaling verkrijgbaar. Er waren wel zitjes in de achtertuin voor gemeenschappelijk gebruik waar je lekker kon zitten. Kortom, zoek je basic, vooral doen. Anders maar even verder kijken. "
