'The house was very clean and orderly, with comfortable beds. The hosts were good communicators and went above and beyond, offering to do things that they wouldn't be required to do, like early check in. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. 'This is a perfect getaway! The setting is absolutely serene and stunning. The cottage is nestled on a rock overlooking the lake, and is very private. A winding and scenic path takes you down to a sandy beach, in a beautiful little cove. The cottage itself is well supplied and very comfortable! It has a rustic charm to it. The large screened in porch was a great place to spend time as a family. This was an actually very relaxing vacation!'

'Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. 'We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. '

'A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend.'
